Kumbaya Foundation is a family made up of people from different places, united by one purpose. To ensure that forgotten children have a place to belong.
We rescue orphans and vulnerable children and place them in loving family environments where they can grow, heal, and discover their worth. Our work goes beyond meeting basic needs. We walk with each child as they grow into confident leaders who can rebuild their communities and nation.
At Kumbaya, every child is known, loved, and valued. This is a safe place where children receive education, medical care, and emotional support while learning their identity in Christ and experiencing the warmth of family.
Challenges facing our nation may change, but our mission remains the same. To care for the most vulnerable children while celebrating faith, hope, and love.
We rescue and raise orphans and vulnerable children by providing safe homes, education, medical care, and family rooted in love, dignity, and faith. Our mission is to ensure that no child is forgotten and every child has the opportunity to thrive.
To equip children with strong moral values, life skills, and purpose so they can make a lasting impact on their communities, their country, and the Kingdom of God.
Love, faith, dignity, responsibility, community, and long term impact in every child’s life.
The word Kumbaya comes from the worship song “Come By Here Lord.” The song was commonly sung by missionaries preaching the Gospel in Africa, calling on God to come close and be present.
That meaning reflects our heart. We believe God comes close to broken situations and restores lives. Kumbaya is more than a name. It is a prayer, a calling, and a home.
Our goal is to identify, rescue, and support orphans and vulnerable children so they can access education, vocational skills, life talents, and long term stability.
We believe that when a child is given love, guidance, and opportunity, their future changes forever.
