Construction Of Two More Classrooms At Kumbaya Hope Academy
Due to the increase in the number of students at Kumbaya Hope Academy, the classrooms we currently have are no longer enough to accommodate the big number of students we are serving.
Our enrollment has grown significantly as more orphans and vulnerable children seek quality, CHRIST-centered education. As a result, the few classes we are currently having are now overcrowded, which affects learning and the well-being of the pupils.
In line with this, we have been officially requested by the Ministry of Education to ensure we put up more classrooms without fail to meet the required pupil to classroom ratio and maintain our operating standards.
To address this directive we have prepared a proposed budget for the construction of two additional classrooms. At a cost of UGX 100,000,000/=. These rooms will create space for 80-90 more children and bring us into compliance with Ministry requirements.
We are humbly appealing for support from partners, generous people, friends and well-wishers to help us meet this urgent need. Every contribution will directly impact a child’s ability to learn in a safe decent classroom.
